Amateur Radio Equipment Donations to LCARA

Lapeer County Amateur Radio Association (LCARA) is a Michigan Non-Profit Corporation and an IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt Public Charity organization. LCARA’s mission is to support awareness and growth of amateur radio communications, encourage radio experimentation, advances in radio technology, and related education in our community.

Your gift may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. Please consult with your tax advisers or the IRS to determine whether a contribution is deductible.

LCARA Donations Policy
The Lapeer County Amateur Radio Association accepts, with prior approval from a board member (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Repeater Trustee), radio equipment and related accessories in good repair. Donations to the club will be inventoried and used to the best benefit of the association, its members, and the amateur radio community in and around Lapeer County.

All donations are accepted in person; no donations should be left at any location for pickup.
